Hello everyone! It has been a very, very long time since I have last posted on this blog. Astonishing, I just realized that I have not made a post for the entire month of March. I suppose that this is because I have recently been procrastinating (a word I learnt from Jiong Wei) very oftenly. Periodically, whenever I feel like making a post on my blogs, I just relinquish the thought of doing so as I just do not want to waste time doing any homework, but instead, I would rather start playing computer games. Even though I know this is a wrong way to do things, it just can’t be helped. I feel hopeless whenever I rushed homework at the eleventh hour, having the thought ‘that I have to finish it by hook or crook by tonight.’ But today, I shall make an effort to make a post on this blog for the sake of my studies and my Language Arts results.
Anyway, I shall now talk about most of the significant events that happened in the month of March. One of them was my birthday that falls on the 12th of March. It was a dreadfully boring and tiresome Friday. It happened to be the last day of camp in St. John’s Island. The camp was very intriguing and was full of activities. The first night on St, John’s Island was fine and comfy, except the creepy environment in St. John’s Island at night. Our class slept in the dorms. However, for the second night, we had to sleep in the tents. As far as I could remember, sleeping in tents was terrible. The air in the tent was sultry and was literally baking us. We had our ‘lights off’ at around 11pm. However, we dragged on and in the end, we all settled down at about 11.45pm. Several of my friends had decided to wish me a happy birthday at exactly 12am, which is approximately 15 minutes to go. Unknowingly, I fell asleep before 12am. That night was atrocious. As soon as I have slept, the humid air pulled me back to reality. I was unable to fall asleep after that. Together with a classmate, we stayed up for the whole night till morning. That sensation, whereby you are entirely enervated and you are unable to sleep, was terrible. But after all, we made it through the night. To describe this camp adventure with one word, it would be ‘fabulous’.
It is time for me to end this post. Goodbye.
